Further your career in industry, laboratory medicine, teaching, and other related fields. Graduate training at the MS level is offered in analytical, clinical, inorganic, organic, physical, and environmental chemistry. The MS program in chemistry offers both thesis and non-thesis options, except in the area of clinical chemistry, which is a coursework-only program.

As part of the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing consortium, this program offers a unique collaborative experience between Cleveland State University, Kent State University, Youngstown State University and the University of Akron. Choose from concentrations in fiction, creative nonfiction, playwriting and poetry, and benefit from a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes professional writing techniques and literary analysis. Gain practical experience through internships in various fields, including teaching, editing, grant writing, arts marketing and arts administration.
