Minimum Stipend Levels
Enrollment Requirements
The following applies to Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters:
- Graduate Assistants with scholarship working 15-20 hours per week must be enrolled in a minimum of 9 credits.
- Graduate Assistants with scholarship working 10 hours per week must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits.
- Graduate Assistants without scholarship must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits.

Summer 2024 Information
The 2024 Summer Semester runs from May 18 – August 9 for a total of 12 weeks. The semester is divided into a 12-week, 10-week, 8-week, and two 6-week sessions.
Minimum stipend levels for Graduate Assistantships are prorated for summer as follows:

Doctoral and Master’s students may hold an assistantship for summer without being registered for courses and may work up to a total of 40 on-campus hours per week (e.g., 20 assistantship plus 20 student employment hours).
