Establishing Work, Life, and School Balance as a Graduate Student
Thursday, February 5 from 11:30am-12:30pm
Location: 134 Berkman Hall and Livestream via Zoom
This workshop will help you explore tools, techniques, and resources that can aid you in balancing your many responsibilities as a graduate student and your other responsibilities in your life and career. This workshop will cover time management strategies, wellness resources, and productivity tools that can help you manage your various responsibilities, achieve your goals, and maintain a healthy work, life, and school balance.

How to Find and Earn Grants as a Grad Student
Thursday, February 12 from 11:30am-12:30pm
Location: 134 Berkman Hall and Livestream via Zoom
This Cleveland State University hosted presentation and discussion will cover grant funding across academic fields.  Discussion points will include how to find funding, prepare materials, and what best practices to follow for successful awarding.  The presentation will conclude with an overview of recent CSU student external grant funding success stories.

Preparing for Conferences and Publications
Monday, March 2 from 1-2pm
Location: 405 Washkewicz Hall and Livestream via Zoom
This workshop will help you learn more about research opportunities for presenting at conferences and publishing research. Topics for conferences include identifying the right conferences, conference etiquette, how to prepare an abstract, benefits of going to conferences, presentation tips, and more. Topics for publishing research include identifying the right journals, how to prepare a manuscript, managing revisions for submissions, and the review process.
