The College of Graduate Studies invites you to join in a new series of panel discussions by and for graduate faculty. Participate in timely discussions online by sharing topics, processes and ideas for enhancing student success and development. A new topic will be discussed each semester.

Panelists discuss various aspects of graduate student retention and success, including initial advising, remediation, and helping students to navigate university processes. This information is suitable for faculty involved in graduate student advising and staff that work on the frontlines of graduate advisement.
Supervising Graduate Assistantships
Panelists discuss experiences and challenges while sharing advice on training and development of students in Assistantships. Topics include timely and tested practices for preparing students for success, guiding TAs to become effective tutors, and acclimating RAs into their distinctive roles.
