CSU offers credential classes for English 101 and History 101/102. Obtained credits will count toward a master's degree if you continue on (if needed).

To teach CCP in Ohio you must:

• Have a master's degree in the subject area OR
• Have a master's degree in any field with 18+ graduate credit hours in the discipline

NOTE: Program costs for CCP teacher credentialing may be eligible for coverage through Ohio's Teacher Credentialing Grant Program. We recommend checking with your school district or educational service center to inquire about funding availability.

1. Apply for admission to Cleveland State University
   • Select either "CCP Teaching English (Graduate Non-Degree)" or "CCP Teaching History (Graduate Non-Degree)" from the drop down
   • NOTE: Applications may take up to 5 business days to process
      
2. Check your Applicant Portal for admission decision.
    
3. Once admitted, enroll in the course(s) needed in CampusNet.
    
4. Submit official transcripts from your bachelor’s awarding institution before the start of term.
